Start Saving Things

You'll now see the giftag browser button in your browser toolbar. To add something to a list, click the browser button, make a selection and save.

The Giftag browser add-on is currently optimized to run on the Firefox browser.To download Firefox, click here. We also offer an addon for Internet Explorer versions 6 and 7. If you would like to try the Internet Explorer add-on, download the Giftag for Internet Explorer addon to the right.

Once installed, the Giftag add-on will place a Giftag icon in your web browser. To activate Giftag from any site on the web simply click the Giftag add-on icon and you will be able to drag and select the item or items you would like to add to your lists.

Additionally, you will be able to "tag" items, notify others about the items you selected via email and manage the lists in which your items will be stored.

Also try our bookmarket as another way to save things to your lists. After installing, you can click on the bookmark to add any item to your gift list.

To install:

  • Drag this button to your browser toolbar
  • Right click on the button (when you see the hand pointer)
  • select "Add to Favorites..."
  • The name should be "Add to Giftag"
  • Save (and ignore security warnings)
